The trailer of the film Karma has been trending on YouTube in Nepal and several other countries.
In countries with a large Nepali diaspora such as Qatar, Korea, and Japan, the trailer of Karma has made it to the YouTube trending list. In Nepal, it holds the sixth spot in the movie section. With the trailer trending in various countries, the demand for the film in the overseas market is expected to increase significantly.
Since its release on Thursday, the trailer has received excellent feedback on social media. As the film’s release date approaches, the trailer is adding to the hype surrounding the film.
The trailer features the main actors of the film, including Bipin Karki, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Mukun Bhusal, Sarita Giri, and others.
The trailer clearly shows how a corrupt society turns an innocent young man into a criminal.
It depicts how a young man, who is striving to achieve his goals, ends up in gangsterism and police custody due to circumstances.
Director Saurabh Chaudhary, who has portrayed Bipin in action, says that the film tells the story of a society that strives for money and power, built on the foundation of action.
Karma stars Bipin, Upasana, Mukun, and Sarita, along with Divyadev, Ben Basnet, Sujan Silwal, Anil Budhathoki, Nirmal Sharma, and others.
The film Karma will be released on Chait 29. It will be shown simultaneously in Nepal and abroad.
Karma, produced in the action genre, is a blend of drama, suspense, and action. The story of the film has been written by the director, Saurabh Chaudhary himself.
Karma has been granted international distribution rights by Seven Seas Cinema.
The film features music by Bhaskar Swarn, choreography by Kabiraj Ghatraaj, action direction by Shri Shrestha, and editing by Nimesh Shrestha.
Taranath Nyaupane is the chief assistant director of the film, with Samir Miya handling the VFX, Uttam Nyaupane working on the background score, Shahil Khan creating the teaser-trailer, Vijay Basyal designing the publicity, and Rajendra Moktan as the colorist.
Presented by Artistic Entertainment, Karma is produced by Basanta Lamsal.
Director Chaudhary’s Agastya: Chapter 1 received positive reviews from both audiences and critics.
