The filming of Barista Balram, directed by Surendra Paudel, has been completed. The shoot, conducted in various locations of Chitwan and Hetauda, concluded within 36 days.

“We successfully completed the shoot as expected. We filmed in all the locations required by the story,” said director Paudel. “Now, we’ll work hard during post-production and deliver a film that meets the audience’s expectations.”

The director mentioned that the film, based on a social narrative, will be both meaningful and entertaining.

Barista Balram features performances by Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Gaumaya Gurung, Pashupati Rai, Mao Tse Gurung, Pradeep Chaudhary, and Rambabu Regmi, among others.

The film had already secured its release date earlier and is set to premiere on the day of Laxmi Puja, which falls on Kartik 3 in the Nepali calendar. This is the fourth directorial venture of Surendra Paudel.

Ashish H. Tamang and Shreeraj Karki are the producers of the film.

While the story and editing are handled by Paudel himself, the script is penned by Mahesh Dawadi.

With Man Krishna Maharjan as the Director of Photography (DOP), the film also features Taranath Nyaupane as the chief assistant director. Prashant Shivakoti has composed the music, Samrat Basnet is the action director, and Pradeep Lama is the choreographer.

Barista Balram is produced under the banner of Vrishabh Siddhi Entertainment in collaboration with Aanbhi Films.

The film will be distributed by DCN within the Kathmandu valley and by Kuver Cine Distribution outside the valley.
