The teaser of the film ‘K Ghar K Dera: Ghar No. 2,’ directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, has been released. In the teaser, the main actor, Khagendra Lamichhane, along with other main cast members, have been given special attention.
The teaser highlights the issues faced by common Nepali lower-class families. It shows a scene where a character lightens their heart by sharing their sorrows with others.
The teaser represents the struggles of ordinary Nepali people who come to Kathmandu from rural areas. It also hints at the storyline of the film, which revolves around two sorrowful characters by the banks of Pashupati.
Themes of familial love, separation, and the mental anguish they cause are captured in the teaser.
The teaser conveys the message that “the concept of ‘yours and mine’ has no meaning when the world is a rented place and everyone is paying rent.” The teaser has made it clear that the film will tell a serious story.
Earlier, the production team released three posters showcasing the main actors of the film last Thursday.
‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ will be released on Jestha 2. The film stars Khagendra, along with Nischal Basnet, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Aryan Sigdel, Keki Adhikari, Prakash Ghimire, Shrijana Napit, Sanjog Rasaily, Rubina Ghimire, and Suraj Bisht.
The film is produced by Apple Entertainment, A Plus Entertainment, and Nataraj Creations. The story of the film is written by Buddhi Sagar, who is the author of ‘Karnali Blues,’ ‘Eklio,’ and ‘Phirphire,’ marking his debut in the film industry.
The cinematography for the film is done by Krishna Bahadur Thapa. The producers of ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ are Nakimuddin, Sharad Shrestha, and Kiran Maharjan, with Yuvaraj Karki as the executive producer.
