Kathmandu. There is curiosity about how director Saroj Poudel’s new film Koshedhunga will turn out, from industry professionals to audiences alike, after his all-time blockbuster film Purn Bahadur Ko Sarangi.
The executive producer of Koshedhunga, Dinesh Khadka, shared that they are working to meet the audience’s expectations. He is confident that the effort put into the film’s story and cinematography will ensure that the audience is not disappointed.
“The work is progressing better than we initially thought. Based on what we’ve seen so far, we are certain that the output will be good,” Khadka said. “The online editing of the film is being done on set, and seeing the hard work of all the artists and technicians, we can confidently say that the audience will experience something special.”
Khadka also mentioned that the support received from local governments, wards, and municipalities in Syangja has made the shooting process smoother and more effective.
“Purn Bahadur Ko Sarangi earned a historic 47 crores at the Nepali box office, which elevated director Saroj Poudel to new heights in the Nepali film industry,” he said. “Understanding the love and expectations of the audience, we are putting in similar hard work for Koshedhunga. We will not disappoint the audience under any circumstances.”
Since its announcement, the film has generated both curiosity and high expectations from the audience. The shooting of Koshedhunga has been taking place at various locations in Syangja for the past month. After shooting for about a week at the Chasal set, the team went to Syangja to continue filming.
According to Executive Producer Khadka, the shooting will be completed in the next week.
The shooting of Koshedhunga is taking place in the areas of Adikhola, Triveni, and Siruwari in Syangja.
Presented by Nar Devi Films, Koshedhunga stars actress Sushmita Panta, Aryan Sikdel, Richa Sharma, Niti Shah, Praveen Khatiwada, Saroj Khanal, Vishal Pahadi, Lokmani Sapkota, Hiwala Gautam, Srijana Adhikari, Shekhar Chapagai, Dinesh Kafle, Siru Bisht, Sneha Joshi, Subalmanni Sapkota, Savita Regmi, and others.
The producers of the film are Previl Kandel and Kishor Anurag. The executive producer is Dinesh Khadka. The cinematography of the film is being done by Babu Shrestha, and the editing will be handled by Surendra Poudel.
The music for the film will be composed by Rhythm Kandel and Ashish Abiral. The casting director is Subalmanni Sapkota.
The production team aims to release Koshedhunga in 2082 BS. However, the official release date has not been announced yet.
