Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, the movie ‘Sitamol’ has announced its release date. On the occasion of Nepali New Year 2082, today, on Baisakh 1, the film’s poster was revealed along with the announcement of its release date on Sharawan 23.
The movie’s poster, which was made public on Monday, features the lead actors Saugat Mall and Benisha Hamal. In the poster, Saugat is holding a red rooster with the support of a Baisakhi stick, standing, while Benisha is seen smiling and holding a child. The poster suggests that they may play the roles of husband and wife in the film.
The movie addresses the story of the Maoist insurgency. In the film, Saugat plays the role of a person injured in the insurgency. Along with Saugat and Benisha, the film features actors such as Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiuwala Gautam, Dinesh Regmi, Samip Niroula, Januka Biskarma, RR Khadka, Gyan Mall, Pawan Bhattrai, Kajal Bhujel, and child actors Karan Nepali and Aaradhya Rajyalaxmi DC.
Produced by Tulsi Devi Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Juntara Films, the film ‘Sitamol’ has its story written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Sane. The movie features Bhugol Kumar Karki and Vikas Raj Joshi as producers, with Apsara Nepali, Ajay Mall, and Kumar KC as executive producers, and Gangaram Shrestha as the co-producer.
The music for the movie is composed by Babul Giri, with choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, editing by Bande Prasad, DI color by Rajendra Moktan, round designer Mukesh Shah, action direction by Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan, poster design by Rakesh Dahal, and production management by Vikas Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Rai. The cinematography of the film is handled by Dibya Subedi.
