Popular Nepali actor Pal Shah is now stepping into film production. On the occasion of the Nepali New Year, Shah announced his first production.
The film, titled ‘Yanimaya’, will be produced under the banner of Pal Shah Films and directed by Bikash Subedi. Subedi has previously written the stories for acclaimed films such as Prakash, Pujar Sarki, and Mahabhoj. Yanimaya will mark his debut as a director.
The film will be based on a family drama. The script has also been written by Subedi himself.
Subedi’s previous screenwriting works have centered on socially relevant themes. He shared that this new film will reflect his unique style.
Actor Pal Shah expressed his gratitude towards the audience for the love they have shown to his brand ‘Pal Shah Films’. He said that he is now ready to move forward with film production and hopes to receive the same love and support from the audience in this new journey.
The production team has stated that filming will begin in Asar (mid-June to mid-July). According to director Subedi, the cast is yet to be finalized.
