Film ‘The Mahaveer’ Announces Casting Call for Actors

The production team of the film The Mahaveer has announced a casting call, expressing the need for fresh faces.

For the role of a caregiver, the team is seeking an indigenous-looking woman aged between 30 and 40 years. Additionally, they are looking for a beautiful woman with a slightly dark complexion, aged between 20 and 25, who can dance well.

They are also casting for a mixed-ethnic-looking boy aged 10 to 12 with slightly dark skin, and an athletic man with an Aryan appearance, 6 feet tall, aged between 35 and 40.

A casting call has also been made for an indigenous woman aged between 40 and 50 with a fat and lazy look. Furthermore, a fit-bodied man with an indigenous look, aged between 25 and 30, is also required.

The team is also looking for:

  • A 6-foot-tall, fit and fine Aryan-looking man, aged 25–30 (athletic),

  • A bold and commanding indigenous man aged 60–65,

  • A tall, healthy indigenous man aged 50–60,

  • A fair-skinned, clever and cunning-looking Aryan man aged 50–60, and

  • A smart-looking Aryan boy aged 7–10.

Both experienced and new actors will be given opportunities. However, preference will be given to those who can perform well.

Audition Process:

In the first round, applicants must send a one-minute video. The deadline to submit the video is from Baisakh 1 to Baisakh 3 (approx. mid-April).

In the second round, selected applicants from the digital audition will be invited for an in-person physical audition. They will be contacted via phone.

About the Film and Production:

The theme poster for The Mahaveer has already been released. Although the storyline has not been disclosed, the red and dark-toned poster suggests that the film may be set against the backdrop of war.

The poster features two powerful horses running toward each other with two individuals in confrontation. A large sword wrapped in red cloth is seen being raised by someone, symbolizing conflict or war.

The film’s slogan, “Rize. Fight. Conquer.”, conveys a message of rising, fighting, and winning, implying a clash between two opposing sides.

The story of the film is written by Krishna BK and GB Agri.
Presented by Lakshara Films, the film is produced by Krishna BK, BR Reddy, and Santosh Luhar. The co-producers are Rambha Devi and Laxman BK.

Veteran music director Suresh Adhikari is the executive producer, and Saran Rishi is the director of photography.

The film will be made in both Hindi and Nepali languages and will feature Dolby Atmos sound.

The release date of the film has not yet been announced.
