The trailer of the film ‘Bhuthan: The World’s Happiest Man’ has been officially released.
The trailer was unveiled on Tuesday at an event held in Lalitpur.
It presents the story of an elderly man who was forcibly exiled from Bhutan and longs to return to his birthplace once before he dies. The trailer also hints at the film’s portrayal of the lives of the Nepali-Bhutanese community and families living in the U.S. through resettlement.
Directed by Binod Paudel, the film is set to release on Baisakh 12 (April 24).
The cast includes Haribansha Acharya, Aditi Poudel, Dayahang Rai, Richa Ghimire, Pooja Chand, Anuradha Majumdar, Bimal Subedi, among others.
Presented by Mad Monkey Films, the film is produced under the banners of Thakurathi Broz, Vacant Light LLC, Everest Entertainment USA, and Awaken Production.
