The production of the film Maina has been announced. Rajendra Dhakal (Rahul) has officially announced the making of the film Maina.
The film’s theme poster has been released. The poster suggests that the film will be a crime thriller.
The film will be directed by Chandra Kumar Bhattarai. This will be his directorial debut.
Bhattarai has previously worked as a chief assistant director in over a dozen films, including Summer Love, Maruni, Raja Rani, and Seto Bagh.
The story of the film, presented by Sushmita Films, is written by Govinda Malla.
Rajendra Dhakal (Rahul) and Binita Sharma are the main producers of the film. Renu Sharma and Sushma Khatiwada will serve as co-producers.
The theme poster hints at a story based on sudden turmoil within a peaceful society. According to the production team, filming will begin in Bhadra (August/September).
The production team has not yet revealed the cast. Director Bhattarai has said that information about the cast will be shared later.
Based on the film’s title, it is assumed that the lead role will be played by a female actor. However, the production team has not confirmed this.
The release date of the film has also not been disclosed. Director Bhattarai mentioned that it will be announced in due course.
