Pradip Chaudhary Takes on Title Role for the First Time, Will Potray ‘Satyabir’

Pradip Chaudhary, known for his role as PK Don in the film Hostel Returns, will play the title role for the first time in Satyabir. This marks his return to acting after nearly 10 years.

The announcement of the film’s production was made on the occasion of Laxmi Puja, along with the release of his character poster.

In the poster, Pradip is presented in an aggressive avatar holding a blood-stained axe. The publicized poster shows a scar on his arm and splatters of blood on his face.

The film will be produced under the banner of Godrej Pictures, directed by Viraj Khadka. This will be Khadka’s directorial debut after a decade of work in VFX and animation. He has previously directed over a dozen short films and music videos.

The film, produced by Aadesh Subba, is set to begin shooting in December.

Director Khadka has indicated that 40% of the scenes will involve VFX, with filming taking place in Kathmandu and Chitwan.

Besides Pradip Chowdhary and action director Himal KC, the production company has not yet announced the rest of the film’s cast and crew.

The film is being made with a budget of 25 million Nepali rupees, and the story is written by Pradip Chowdhary himself.
