A film titled Dori is set to be produced, combining elements of horror, thriller, action, and comedy.
The announcement was made with the release of the theme poster during Tihar. Arun Lama will direct the film, marking his debut as a feature film director after having directed several short films and documentaries. Lama is also the writer of the film.
The film will feature actors including Praveen Khatriwada, Shishir Bangdel, Kavita Ale, Raj Poudel, Vishal Rai, Milan Rai, Nutan, and Birendra Singh Kushwaha. Although it has been announced that the film will be released next year, the lead actress has yet to be finalized.
Director Lama has stated that the film will present a new style of storytelling. According to him, Dori will interestingly depict struggles filled with humor, horror, and failure.
Produced by ‘Mr. X,’ the executive producer of the film is Raj Thapa. Cinematography will be handled by Saurabh Lama, with action direction by Raju Tamang.
