The earth itself is a rental,
Everyone must pay rent,
Man is a guest,
Tomorrow, he must return home,
What’s yours and mine,
What’s a home, what’s a shelter…

These lines are from the teaser of the film ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’. These lines highlight the bitter truth of life. They attempt to shake the common people by revealing the truth that everyone’s life is closer to reality than they might realize.

The film sheds light on the fact that the earth itself is a rental, and these lines suggest that claiming ownership is, in fact, futile. This message is reflected in the film’s promotional content.

No matter how much one claims ownership, in the end, the inevitable truth is that everyone must eventually leave, and everything turns to dust. This truth, which the teaser emphasizes, should be accepted by all.

Ultimately, the teaser points out the struggles that arise when people cannot accept the truth that they will leave this world empty-handed. The film uses the concept of “shelter” to reflect this harsh reality of life.

Therefore, ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ clearly aims to depict the reality of common life. Regardless of how rich one may become, the truth remains that they will leave this world with nothing, and the reality of facing solitude in one’s later years is symbolized by scenes of smoke rising from a funeral pyre. This truth is something that will only be felt in the final stages of life or in times of sorrow, as the film suggests.

Thus, director Deependra K. Khanal believes that the audience will connect with the film and experience the truth of life. He asserts that the film ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ will evoke emotions that everyone, every home, and every society will experience at some point in their lives.

The director mentioned that he has always believed that films should be close to life, and accordingly, ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ was made. For this reason, he prefers to call this film closely related to the truth of life.
