In the Nepali film industry, director Dipendra K. Khanal, known for successful social drama films like Pashupati Prasad, Aama, and Chiso Manche, is now preparing to release his new film Ke Ghar Ke Deraa: House No. 2.

The film, scheduled for release on Jestha 2 (mid-May), tells the story of houses and rented spaces. It explores the impact of living either in one’s own house or in a rented space. It also addresses the social status that is often forcefully determined by whether one owns a house or lives in a rented space.

Director Khanal said that Ke Ghar Ke Deraa: House No. 2 will also delve into how the effects of this difference manifest at the end of one’s life.

While the story revolves around houses and rentals, who are the tenants and who are the landlords in the film? Actors Khagendra Lamichhane, Nischal Basnet, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Aryan Sigdel, Keki Adhikari, Prakash Ghimire, among others, are in lead roles. Among them, who plays the landlord and who the tenant?

In the posters, everyone has a similar look. However, in one poster, Khagendra is seen pulling a bicycle. The teaser also portrays Khagendra as a sorrowful character.

Therefore, it can be generally assumed that Khagendra is the tenant. If he is the tenant, then it is unclear whether Aryan or Nischal plays the landlord, as the director has not provided specific information.

Director Dipendra K. Khanal stated that Ke Ghar Ke Dera: House No. 2 is not a sequel, although it deals with a similar theme of houses and rentals. The story for the film is written by author Buddhisagar. This is his first film as a writer.

The film is presented by Apple Entertainment, A Plus Entertainment, and Natraj Creation.

The cinematography for the film is done by Krishna Bahadur Thapa.

Producers for Ke Ghar Ke Dera: House No. 2 are Nakimuddin, Sharad Shrestha, and Kiran Maharjan.
Yubaraj Karki serves as the executive producer.
