Actress Rekha Thapa is set to make her debut in theater with the play Meera.
The play will be based on the novel of the same name, written by Deepak Sinjali.
It will be staged from Jestha 15 to Ashar 7 (late May to late June). The play will portray the story of a woman’s rebellion against her family and society.
Rekha will play the lead role in the production. Currently, rehearsals and script readings are underway.
A few days ago, Thapa had shared a photo on social media with the caption “Rekha or Meera,” hinting at her new project.
The theatrical adaptation and direction of Meera will be handled by Sundar Dhital.
