‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’ Releases Traditional Nepali Khaijadi Song

The second song from the upcoming film “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho”, which is set to release on Asar 27, has been made public.

The traditional khaijadi song titled “Her Lau Nepal Aamako” narrates Nepal’s history from the past to the present.

Sung and written by Anish Adhikari, the song features the film’s lead actors Roshan Shrestha, Bijay Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang ‘Hait’, Ayusha Samal, Bijita Bardewa, Devaraj Rajbanshi, and Anish Adhikari. The previously released song “Timro Aankhai Rasilo” was well-received by audiences and listeners. The choreography is by Pramod Bhandari.

The film features performances by Roshan Shrestha, Bijay Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang ‘Hait’, Ayusha Samal, Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden ‘Mantri’, Subash Bhandari, Bijay Subba, Bijita Bardewa, Devaraj Rajbanshi, among others.

Presented by Ishwar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and produced by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan), “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” is backed by presenter Mitra Pradhan.

Directed by U.S.-based literary figure Mitra Pradhan (Nar), the film brings to light the issues faced by Nepalis living abroad. “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” aims to explore the pride, history, importance, and essence of the Nepali language, literature, art, and identity — questioning and celebrating what it means to be Nepali.

Written by Shivam Adhikari, the film seeks to highlight the diminishing connection of Nepalis living around the world with their art, values, and culture — striving to revive the significance, beauty, and history of the Nepali language through cinema.

The film features music by Dipak Sharma, cinematography by Saurav Lama, action direction by Dev Maharjan, VFX by Samir Miya, and choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj. The film will be distributed by RR Films Pvt. Ltd.
