‘Rangi’ to Screen in London After Nepal Release

The film Rangi, which was released all over Nepal on Fagun 2 (mid-February), is now set to be screened in London. Presented by actor Salon Basnet, the film will hit 27 theaters across London on May 9. Vikram Joshi of Maharani Production has taken responsibility for distributing the film in London. According to Joshi, the film has already received censor approval and has been awarded a PG certificate by the UK censor board.

Previously, Rangi was screened in various cities across Australia.

Produced under the banner of Saanvi Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film revolves around the relationship between a father and daughter. It marks the directorial debut of Suresh Nyaupane, who has previously worked as an assistant director on various films.

The film stars Salon Basnet, Namrata Shrestha, Dilip Rayamajhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Uttam KC, Sumin Gurung, and Bishal Pahari, among others. It is also the debut production venture of actor Salon Basnet.

The film is produced by Saksham Subedi, Karishma KC Basnet, and Anish Gautam. The screenplay is written by Suman Gajmer, with cinematography by Saurabh Lama. The music is composed by Durgesh Thapa, Aamesh Bhandari, and Bheem BC, with vocals by Anand Karki, Aamesh Bhandari, Bheem BC, Samikshya Adhikari, and Sujata KC. Lyrics are penned by Durgesh Thapa, Aamesh Bhandari, and Bheem BC. The film is edited by Bande Prasad, with coloring by Rajendra Moktan. Choreography is done by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Shishir Khati, and the production is overseen by Kewalman Singh Basnet.

The film’s distributors in Nepal are Apple Entertainment, FD, and Rich Entertainment.
