Director Rupesh Tamang, who released the film Daanvi last year, is now preparing for a new project.
This time, he is planning to make an action film with a multi-starrer cast. The process of finalizing the actors is currently underway at a fast pace.
Meanwhile, actress Pooja Sharma has been confirmed for the film. Director Rupesh signed her on the occasion of her birthday.
After Pooja was finalized, Rupesh said, “My story specifically called for Pooja Sharma, so I signed her. This time, I will work on improving the shortcomings seen in my previous film.”
Actress Sharma also expressed her excitement about returning to an action role.
She said, “Audiences appreciated the action in Daanvi. That’s why I was interested in doing another action film. When Rupesh ji came with a good story, I agreed to sign.”
According to director Rupesh, this time the cast will feature some surprise elements. The film’s title has not yet been decided. He said it will be registered at the Film Development Board and made public in a few days.
The film is being written by Suman Gajmer. The production team is planning to begin shooting within a few months.
Although Daanvi was expected to cause a stir at the box office, it ultimately turned out to be a flop.
Hopefully, this new film will deliver a blockbuster success and help erase the pain of past failure.
