The first-look poster of the film Rimai, directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, has been released along with the announcement of its release date. On the occasion of Buddha Jayanti on Monday, three posters were unveiled, informing that the film will have a worldwide release from Bhadra 27 (September 12).
Among the three released posters, the first one features actors Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung. The second poster includes actress Gaumaya Gurung alongside them. The third poster features almost all the main cast, including Dayahang, Rishma, and Gaumaya. The posters depict the characters in alignment with Gurung cultural traditions. The film’s production team believes that these three posters will generate excitement among the audience.
Presented by Gorkha Siranchok & Ligligkot Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Roteping Entertainment, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Gaumaya Gurung, Arpan Thapa, Kabita Ale Magar, Mao Tse Gurung, Pushkar Gurung, Veermaya Gurung, Veerbal Ghale, DB Gurung, Tek Gurung, and child actors Asim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar, among others.
Written by Upendra Subba, the film has been shot by Shailendra Dhoj Karki. Veerbal Ghale is the executive producer, while Tika Gurung, Jit Yatri Gurung, and Duna Bahadur Ghale are producers. Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire are co-producers. The film features music by Deepak Sharma and Thaneshwor Gautam, with Kiran Chamling Rai as the chief assistant director, Bishnu Mainali as the production manager, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
