Singer Binay Karki Chhetri, who began his musical journey in the 2000s with the popular song ‘Jaba Timi Ekla Thiyau,’ has released a new song. The latest release is titled ‘Kina Chhin Chhin.’
The song, a duet with singer Anjana Saru, was composed and written by Kamal Khatri. Saru is the winner of ‘Image Lokkalakar Season 1.’ Reflecting on his past success with the song ‘Jaba Timi Ekla Thiyau,’ Binay shared that he couldn’t focus on singing for nearly seven years due to his commitment to music arrangement.
However, Binay now plans to be more actively involved in singing. To reignite his passion, he participated in ‘The Voice of Nepal Season 2.’ During the blind auditions, he performed the song ‘Bhumo,’ impressing all four judges, who turned their chairs for him. His audition video even went viral on social media. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the second round.
Binay has now set out to win over audiences once again with the release of ‘Kina Chhin Chhin.’ He is optimistic that listeners will appreciate his latest song.
Besides singing, Binay has been a prominent background music composer for popular YouTube and television series. He has worked on soundtracks for over a dozen shows, including ‘Buhari,’ ‘Halkara Mailo,’ ‘Juthe,’ ‘Naari’ and so on.
The music video for the new song was directed by Nitin Chand and stars Shraddha Chhetri, Bikram Pokharel and Aarohi Karki Chhetri.
