
Filming of the movie Shivansh: Chapter–1 has begun. The shoot commenced with a worship ceremony at Akala Temple located in Lamachaur, Pokhara.
According to producer Anjan KC, Shivansh: Chapter–1, which went into production shortly after its announcement, will be filmed in various locations around Pokhara for approximately one month.
Directed by Santosh Kumar Atreya, the film is presented by Anjan Cinema Production House. This marks Atreya’s directorial debut.
The lead roles are played by Praveen Khatiwada, Tej Giri, and Rusha Neupane. The film also stars Bikash Joshi, Bimala Limbu, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary, Sabir Churaute, Uday Kumar Subba, and Tika Niraula, among others.
The story of the film is written by Anjan KC, who also serves as the producer. The co-producers are Shobha Bhandari and Anis KC Bogati. The screenplay is by Bharat Limbu.
In a recently released poster, actor Praveen Khatiwada is shown bound in iron chains. The caption indicated that he was under the enemy’s control during a power struggle.
No official details about the film’s storyline have been revealed by the production team yet.
Scheduled for release on Asoj 24 (early October), the film will also feature Bimala Limbu, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary, Sabir Churaute, Uday Kumar Subba, Tika Niraula, and Kundan.
The lyrics are written by Biplav Prateek and Rajanraj Shiwakoti. Music is composed by Nhyoo Bajracharya and Rajanraj Shiwakoti, with vocals by Rajanraj Shiwakoti, Milan Newar, and Samikshya Adhikari.
The film’s action direction is by Milan Shrestha, and choreography is by Bikram Chauhan. Milan Manandhar will serve as the production manager, with Prateek Chaudhary working as both art director and production designer.
Biraj Khadka is the VFX director and supervisor, while Aadesh Subba (Goodrej Pictures) is the VFX producer. Costumes are by Kamal Mishra, makeup by Tulasa Limbu, and poster photography by Yuwahang Rai.
Bharat Limbu is the chief assistant director, and the script doctor is Sulakshan Bharti. Sarda Mahato is the film’s director of photography, and the executive producer is Shambhu Thapa.
Film Chautari will handle post-production, and Digital Cinema Nepal (DCN) will manage distribution.
