Jeetu Nepal’s Character Poster from ‘Karsang’ Released

The film Karsang has unveiled the character poster of actor Jeetu Nepal.

In the poster, Jeetu is seen dressed as a highland shepherd, wearing a black hat, checkered shirt, waistcoat, black pants, and traditional gumboots. He’s depicted with a bag resting on his knee while holding a bowl. The background features a village house, hills, and mist, adding to the authentic feel.

The poster also includes the phrase, “Makai ta pinne ghatta ma, pirati basyo thatta ma,” which adds a touch of charm.

Earlier, the film had released the character poster of Dayahang Rai. The writer and director of Karsang is Yam Sherpa, marking his directorial debut with this film.

The movie is set to be released on January 10 (Nepali date: Poush 26). The story draws inspiration from the culture of the Sherpa community and features Jeetu Nepal, Dayahang Rai, along with debut actress Srijana Ninglekhu, Diya Maskey, Buddhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, and Survir Pandit.

The film is produced under the banner of Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, with cinematography handled by Purushottam Pradhan, who is also the lead producer. The co-producers are Govinda Bohara, with Angchiring Sherpa as the executive producer and Birendra Shahi as the line producer.

The international distribution rights have been secured by Suman Parajuli and Somlal Thokar, while RR Films will handle the distribution in Nepal.
