Director Chandra Pant has announced the production of a new film titled A Bata Aama. He made the announcement on Monday by releasing a thematic poster. He has also set the release date for Falgun 15 (late February).

The released poster shows a child expressing love toward their mother. The child is seen trying to stop the tears of a weeping mother. This suggests that the film’s story will portray the deep affection children have for their mothers.

The film, to be presented by Arya Entertainment, is set to begin filming in the upcoming month of Bhadra (August/September). The production team has not yet revealed the cast. The script is written by Abhimanyu Nirvi. According to director Pant, only the theme poster has been released so far, and the names of the cast and technical crew will be revealed in a few days.

Director Chandra Pant previously directed the action genre film Hrashwa Deergha, which was his directorial debut. In addition to this, he has worked as an action director in over fifty Nepali films and also in Bhojpuri cinema. A Bata Aama will be his second directorial venture in Nepali cinema.

Pant had elevated Hrashwa Deergha to a notable level, and the film was a commercial success. It performed well in Nepal and was even acquired by India’s popular OTT platform Zee5. This marked the first time a Nepali film was bought by Zee5. After achieving international success with his debut, Pant is now ready to embark on his next project.
