Director Saurabh Chaudhary has signed Upasana Singh Thakuri as the lead actress for his upcoming film ‘Karma’.
In the movie, she will be paired opposite Bipin Karki.
This will be the first time that Upasana and Bipin are working together. Bipin will be seen in an action-packed role.
In addition, actor Mukun Bhusal has been cast in a negative role, marking his debut in such a character.
Upasana, who made her debut in Nepali cinema with ‘Captain’, has already scored a hat-trick of hits with ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi’, ‘Dui Nambari’, and ‘Khusma’. Mukun, known for his role in ‘Bulbul’, is currently making waves with his film ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’, which is breaking records at the domestic box office.
The film will be shot in Dang and Rukum. The screenplay has been written by the director himself.
The film is presented by Artistic Entertainment, and the producer is Vasant Lamsal. The movie is set to be released on Chait 29.
