In the United States, Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi has set a new record for the highest number of shows for a Nepali film.

On Saturday, the film achieved this milestone by securing 226 shows in a single day, marking the highest number of shows any Nepali film has had in the U.S. in one day.

Previously, Degree Maila held the record for 90 shows in a single day.

Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi received 20 shows across five theaters in Dallas, Texas, 11 shows in three theaters in Houston, and 13 shows in three theaters in Columbus, Ohio. These cities have been among the highest recipients of shows.

The film, which was released on November 8, had a total of 350 shows in its first three days. In comparison, Degree Maila had a total of 560 shows. Given the current trend, Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi is projected to surpass this number as well.

On Sunday, it is reported that the film had approximately 226 shows again. According to Patrick Subedi, a distributor in the U.S. with a 13-year career, this commercial enthusiasm for Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi is unprecedented. He is both the distributor and a producer of the film.

The film, produced by Seven Seas Entertainment, is also being screened in countries across the Middle East, East Asia, and Australia.
