
The Nepali film ‘Hrashwa Deergha’ which was released last Friday is performing exceptionally well in cinemas across the country.
Even on weekdays, the film has been doing good business and today it has received the most shows in Nepalgunj.
In Nepalgunj, the two major cinemas – Cine Royal and QFX Bageshwari – have allocated 15 shows for ‘Hrashwa Deergha’.
All of these shows have been sold out. Cine Royal has provided 10 shows, while QFX Bageshwari has provided 5 shows. The film has gained significant support from the very first morning show.
With a highly encouraging response from the audience, the film’s production team has traveled to Nepalgunj today.
The team includes producer and actress Neeta Dhungana, actor Harihar Adhikari, Indian actor Pradeep Singh Rawat, and director Chandra Pant. Director Pant mentioned that Pradeep Singh Rawat would be returning to India from Nepalgunj.
Meanwhile, the production team has released a four-day box office collection report for the film.
According to the distributor Manoj Rathi, the film has grossed a total of NPR 3.65 crore in just four days. On Friday, the film grossed NPR 80 lakh, on Saturday NPR 1.2 crore, on Sunday NPR 75 lakh, and on Monday NPR 90 lakh.
On Tuesday, a new song from the film, titled “Japidain Hari”, was also released.
The song, which expresses a love theme, features vocals by Ketan Kshetri and Menuka Paudel, with lyrics and music composed by Pratik Paudel. The video features Neeta Dhungana, Harihar Adhikari, and Saroj Khanal, with Neeta and Harihar appearing in a romantic avatar.
The film, presented by Neeta Films, is executive produced by Dhananjay Galani.
The cast includes Harihar Adhikari, Neeta Dhungana, Brahmanandam, Ali, Kabir Duhaan Singh, Pradeep Rawat, Sunil Verma, Prashant Tamrakar, Sanchita Luitel, Bipana Thapa, Saroj Khanal, Naren Khadka, Garima Sharma, Ravindra Jha, Ardash Mishra, Buddhi Tamang, Kiran KC, and others.
The film’s story is by actor Harihar Adhikari, while the screenplay and dialogue are written by Pratik Paudel, director Pant, and Harihar Adhikari. The cinematography is by Bollywood’s renowned cinematographer Kabir Lal.
Directed by Chandra Pant, this film adds a new dimension to the Nepali film industry.
Pant, who had previously directed some Bhojpuri films and worked as an action director in over fifty Nepali films, is making his directorial debut with ‘Hrashwa Deergha’.
Produced with the investment of Neeta Dhungana, this film is also set to release in Telugu and Hindi languages.
