
Advance ticket sales for Tel Visa and Agnidahan, releasing this Friday, have opened.
Tel Visa has secured 88 shows across the country, while Agnidahan has managed to get 23 shows.
Directed by Shankar Ghimire, Tel Visa has received an enthusiastic number of shows from cinemas. The film, starring Bipin Karki and Barsha Raut, has been allocated 49 shows by Nepal’s largest multiplex chain, QFX, including 25 in Kathmandu and 24 outside the valley.
Similarly, the film has received 9 shows in INI Cinemas, 7 in One Cinemas, and 4 in Big Movies. Other theaters have also opened bookings for the movie.
On the other hand, Agnidahan has only been allotted 4 shows by QFX’s Kathmandu chain, 3 shows in INI Cinemas, 2 in One Cinemas, and 1 in Big Movies.
Tel Visa features actors like Bipin Karki, Barsha Raut, Richa Sharma, Pooja Chand, Buddhi Tamang, and more. Bipin plays a dual role as both an elderly and a young man in the film.
Meanwhile, Agnidahan is a social drama said to be created as a campaign against the superstition of the bokshi (witchcraft) tradition. The film is based on the novel Agnidahan by author and journalist Lokmani Paudel. Its cast includes Prakash Ghimire, Mao Tse Gurung, Kovid Sharan Upadhyay, Anupama Bhandari, Pramila Tulachan, Tulasi Kshetri, and others.
Besides these two films, the Hollywood movie Gladiator is also releasing in Nepali cinemas, with advance bookings already open. The movie has been allotted 34 shows.
Similarly, the Tihar release Purnabahadurko Sarangi is still running in theaters, with its business approaching record-breaking milestones.
Likewise, last Friday’s release, Hraswa Dirgha, continues to leave a significant impact at the box office.
