Bijay Baral, known for his role in Purna Bahadurko Sarangi, has begun filming for the second schedule of the movie Laaj Sharanam.
On Tuesday, Baral commenced the second phase of shooting at the Food Warehouse in Maitighar, Kathmandu.
The film, which completed its Dolpa schedule before Dashain, resumed its Kathmandu schedule a few days ago. According to the production team, 95% of the shooting has been completed so far.
The production team had announced the film’s release date as 14th Fagun (Mahashivaratri) before starting its shooting schedule.
For Bijay, this will be the first film to release after his acclaimed performance in Purna Bahadur Sarangi.
The movie features an ensemble cast, including Mukunda Shrestha, Vijay Baral, Prashant Tamrakar, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, Mala Limbu, and several members of the Sakkigoni team, such as Arjun Ghimire (Pande), Sagar Lamsal (Bale), Harish Niraula (Cockroach), Priyana Acharya (Munni), Babin Rai (Gulfne Baje), Ram Bhajan Kamat, and Kamalmani Nepal (Khupika Bau).
The cinematography is being handled by Sudeep Baral.
Under the banner of JPT Creation, the film is produced by Navin Shrestha, with Ram Naresh Shah as the co-producer.
Most of the cast comprises artists from the popular comedy show Sakkigoni.
Laaj Sharanam promises to bring together talent from diverse backgrounds, blending cinematic storytelling with familiar faces from television.
