‘Narsimha: Avatar’ Sees High Demand Overseas, Japan Rights Sold

The film Narsimha: Avatar, written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, has seen a surge in international demand following the release of its first look. According to director Bhattarai, the first look has attracted interest from various countries, and the film’s international distribution rights are expected to be sold in most regions within a few days.

Meanwhile, the Japan distribution rights of the film have already been sold. The rights were acquired by UNA Entertainment. Ujjwal Guragain, head of UNA, stated that they decided to purchase the distribution rights after Japanese audiences began inquiring about the film’s theme. However, the production team has not disclosed the amount for which the Japan rights were sold.

The film has garnered significant attention as it marks the comeback of actor Rajesh Hamal. Additionally, the release of a massive 60-foot-long poster further fueled the film’s publicity.

The film stars Rajesh Hamal, Neer Shah, Raj Katuwal, Prashant Tamrakar, Saroj Khanal, Niti Shah, Sanisha Bhattarai, Usha Khadgi, and Deepa Shahi, among others.
Investors in the film include Deepak Dhakal, Narendra Maharjan, Dhruv Nyaupane, and Nem Maharjan.
Narsimha: Avatar is slated for release on May 22.
