
The grand premiere of the film ‘Bhuthan’, featuring Haribansha Acharya in the lead role, has been successfully completed. The premiere was held on Tuesday at the QFX cinema hall located at Civil Mall, Sundhara, Kathmandu.
The event was attended by leaders of political parties, social workers, artists, journalists, editors, and prominent figures from various fields. After watching the film, viewers commented that ‘Bhuthan’ has taken Nepali cinema one step higher.

The entire filming of ‘Bhuthan’ was done within the United States. The film’s English title is ‘The World’s Happiest Man’. Alongside Haribansha, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Anuradha Majumdar, Pooja Chand-Lama, Richa Ghimire, Joyce Pandey, Aditi Pyakurel, Tom Crain, and Bimal Subedi. Hollywood actor Bruce Dern has played a special role.
This film tells an emotional story about the pain of Bhutanese citizens losing their homeland and their deep connection to their roots. ‘Bhuthan’ is set to release in theaters on Baisakh 12 (April 24).
