‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ Receives Universal Certificate, Brings Tears During Censor Screening

 The film ‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’, directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, has received a Universal Certificate from the Central Film Review Committee (Censor Board).

With this certification, the film is now approved for viewers of all age groups.

During the censor screening, most of the board members were seen visibly emotional. Some of the film’s touching scenes moved them deeply, prompting remarks about experiencing an authentic and profound Nepali film after a long time. A few members were even seen wiping tears from their eyes.

“It’s been a long time since we watched such an emotionally rich Nepali film. Some scenes were so moving that we couldn’t hold back our tears,” said one member of the censor board.

‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2’ is set to release on Jestha 2 (May 15). The story is written by acclaimed author Buddhisagar and explores themes of home and rental life.

The film features performances from Khagendra Lamichhane, Nischal Basnet, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Aryan Sigdel, Keki Adhikari, Prakash Ghimire, Shrijana Napit, Sanjog Rasaily, Rubina Ghimire, Suraj Bista, and others.

Produced under the banners of Apple Entertainment, A Plus Entertainment, and Natraj Creation, the film’s cinematography is by Krishna Bahadur Thapa.

Yubraj Karki serves as the executive producer, with producers Nakim Uddin, Sharad Shrestha, and Kiran Maharjan.
